i saw a man today with his daughter walking towards me. as i watched them i noticed something that isn't usually preseant between an adult and a child. he was talking to her like an equal. his face showed no acknolegement of speaking to a child, just that he was talking to someone. she asked questions and he answered as best he could. it was a nice change from the shouting mother or the impatient father. it really was.
