i rememeber. i remember being so close and yet so far. not knowing, but letting the excitment wash over me, until i would look and see you smiling. the emptiness i now feel. the disappointment i willnever be rid of. the joy i feel, the sadness i try to push away.
longing, aching, smiling at the memories.
the small talk that is now a necessity to keep going. to just keep going.
keep that place you used to have. keep it for me. keep me there. dont forget. dont remember.
just let it sit. let it wash over you every now and then.
let it clense you, let it burn you.
just let it be.
